Action Required: Increase Azure VM Quotas Before 31 July 2026
We would like to bring the following update to the attention of users of our On-premise cloud service. Microsoft Azure will introduce capacity growth restrictions for certain older-generation Azure Virtual Machine series starting 31 July 2026.
After this date, quota increase requests, new deployments, and scale-out activities requiring additional capacity may no longer be approved for the affected VM sizes.

Required action before 31 July 2026
If you currently use any of the VM sizes listed above and expect future growth, additional deployments, or scale-out activity, please:
- Review your current usage and available Azure VM quota.
- Estimate the additional capacity you may require in the future.
- Submit the necessary quota increase requests to Microsoft Azure before 31 July 2026.
Please note:
- Quota already approved for your existing subscriptions will not be affected.
- Existing workloads operating within their currently allocated capacity can continue running without interruption.
- After 31 July 2026, additional quota or capacity for these VM sizes may not be available.
- We therefore strongly recommend requesting sufficient quota in advance to support your anticipated growth.
